Joanne Lobato has had the opportunity to be surrounded by some very influential scenery. With Moab Utah to the west and its beautiful red arches and the Gateway scenic byway to the north and her own rural community of Nucla with its rich mining history scenery and wildlife, her paintings vary in subject matter but maintain one common factor, they paint a picture of the southwest.
